it used to be filled with so much music now all it is,is reality crap?? Once they got rid of TRL they have no right to call themselfs music television I say they put back way more music shows and a show similar or like TRL and just make another network called RTV so people can watch reality there.

Mtv went downhill on 12/31/99 they don't even play music anymore I feel sorry for the next generation.

My husband and I had this discussion the other day. How when we were younger on summer vacation from school we would watch MUSIC VIDEOS on MTV all day!!! I haven't watched MTV in at least 5 years. VH1 isn't much better but at least they offer music in the morning when you get ready for work.

They want you to watch MTV2 and the other channels they offer which usually involve getting more cable channels.I think their in bed with cable television providers.I have regular cable and I hate MTV and VH1 with a passion.I used to love MTV in the eighties now it sucks.

they shouldn't even be called mtv anymore because the only music show they did have left which was trl is no longer even on. it's all reality tv [i like reality tv] and lame shows about preppy bimbos and tool jocks [that should drop dead]. mtv sucks now i like vh1 better but fuse is bomb.
