If so, what's the part you hated the most?

Me, and it was Green Day making the list and above classics like Who's Generation, or the fact that they basically included almost ONE song per artists. Or the fact that not a single Pink Floyd song was on the list, although it could be because they weren't hard rock.

Off subject: And yes, I know posted this question about 3 minutes ago, and then deleted because I mispelled greatest. So how can you edit your title post in a way?
Again, sorry to one of the 2 who had to re-reply to my re-post.

To Mamachongo or w/e: I think Agualung did make the list, but only 90 or something.

To ThirdEye: Did it ever occur I didn't watch it and just looked up the list somewhere? Also, even if I did watch it, maybe I was excited for it?
To Keeler: I think WGFA end up between 4-6.

Where did the selected Slayer song place on the list? If it was worse than #5, the list shouldn't be taken seriously.

VH1 is horrid at all things concerning metal/hard rock, anyway.

I think Stairway To Heaven should have been #1, Iron Man should have been on the list and Crazy Train should have been in the top 10

i actually didnt think it was THAT bad, i mean i woulda put it in a different order of course...but i think the thing i hated the most was some of the song choices for particular bands...like for zz top, why tush? and not cheap sunglasses or the grange? and why interstate love song by stp and not plush? and why stone cold crazy by queen and not fat bottomed girls or we are the champions? and why walk this way and not dream on? and why hey joe and not purple haze?

oh and why wasnt aqualung on there? or layla?

ok so maybe i didnt like it that much after all....

Why would you watch that crap in the 1st place.

Music and I mean real music has nothing to do with MTV, or VH1. They IMO have tried everything possible to destroy music.

I got so ****ing pissed when Green Day was in the top 40, and in front of so many great songs. Basketcase is a very mehable song, and didn't even need to be on the list. Same thing goes for Kid **** and Creed.

And Welcome to the Jungle is a great song, but it DOES NOT deserve the number 1 spot, especially way in front of all of those kickass songs they got rid of within the first 40. Another bullcrap list by VH1, good job guys.

It was BS, I mean Alice In Chains was like 90 something, but 47 was kid rock, and Poison was like number 40. Plus any list that has creed in it loses all credibility.

but when scott weiland came on i laughed so hard iced tea came out of my nose, i have no idea why i found that funny....and i wasn't stoned.

They nominate the songs--the public votes. Hence why Green Day ends up higher than Cream and The Kinks.

I liked parts of it. Didn't watch the final hour, though. Where did Won't Get Fooled Again end up?
