With her powerful ability to sway thoughts and opinions with her input and approval of ideas, products, and people?

I see her as a loudmouth liberal. Sort of a black Rosie O'Donnell. Just a little (a very little) more class.
Did I say I am not into flavor of the week type of things?

Yeah. There are lots of people who follow her. So I guess that has to make her a leader. What I can't figure out is *why* anybody follows her. Think of what that says about America. Some days it's hard not to despair.

No.

She has a lot of followers.

That doesn't make her spiritual. It doesn't make her wise. It just means a lot of the sort of people that have their afternoons free...(hint, they aren't at work) .... think she's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Having a good PR firm and a high TV Q does not make you Karl Barth or Mother Theresa.

No, never thought of her like that, though she does seem to be a very spiritual person. If she just had a show on spirituality she could be, but she covers such a vast expanse of issues.
