View Full Version : Why do some like to assume that Oprah Winfrey would run for President?

Do you really think she's giving up $385 million a year salary for $400,000 a year? Really?

If you want to do the Math, that's nearly 963 times the salary of the President!

I know some simply like to ask so they can "draw in" the racist rants. Would running for President even make sense with all the power she has now?

Oprah Winfrey gets on my nerves. I mean she helps a lot of people, but she's super arrogant.

Truth,
Haha. I don't know. There's just something about her that I don't like. Don't get me wrong. I like that she helps people out; I'm not trying to say she's a bad woman or anything. She likes the spotlight, let's just put it that way.

I think it would be funny to see how many people would actually vote for her . ;]

Idk that one person on here always writes that same question "if Oprah ran for president would you vote for her" they have posted it like 500 times !

anywoo, I emailed you check it ... yah .

@ (R) Sarah, on the right - that sentence doesn't make much sense, I'm curious, how is she arrogant exactly? I mean, I'm no Oprah lover, but I don't see how a person that gives away free cars, builds schools for kids that don't have them, and remakes homes could be arrogant. All I really see there is a big heart, someone that actually cares about other people.

@ the nightmare before christmas - you're joking, right? Oh I'm sure since you heard south Africa you automatically thought 'blacks', right? Well infact, 5.2 million WHITE PEOPLE live in south Africa. So, I don't know what you are talking about.

@ the nightmare before christmas - I don't believe that at all, she could not say something like that without me hearing it, it would be everywhere, and I just did a web search on that and found NOTHING. So if you want to say something like that you should probably include a credible link of her saying those exact words, or someone quoting her saying those exact words. I didn't thumbs you down either ..

Because she makes a super egomaniac seem humble by comparison - she would love the power over others that comes with being President.

Most people don't run for President for the money...it's the fame and yes, Oprah is a fame hog and I could see her giving it a whirl.

She only builds and funds schools for blacks, or so that's what I hear. I think that's a little mean...perhaps even arrogant... She also professes to be a Christian, yet believes that there is more than just one way to get into Heaven. But, in the Bible, it clearly states that there is only one way. She's changing the words in the Bible to her liking? Yes...that seems very arrogant...

Also, people can give and still be arrogant... They can give just to look like caring individuals. That one parable in the Bible comes to mind... And, to answer the question, she probably wouldn't run for the money. She just looks kinda power...hungry... LOL.

EDIT: Well, did you hear about that one school she was building? She only wanted blacks to attend. That's segregation right there... Segregation is all about arrogance, in my opinion. Oh, and I didn't thumb you down... Just wanted to make that clear :/.

EDIT II: I found 'em. And...thanks for not automatically thumbing me down either... You're hearing me out...very open-minded attitude. So, yeah...just wanted to say that...

oprah is so fat and ugly and amazingly stupid and her followers are worse.
Jerry Springer had more intelligence.
I mentioned may be educated africans were not so racist and thinking they are entitled and this quite gentle little women at work says oh no listen to Orpah she thinks all africans are entitled and pushes that message.

People say it because they hate her and they want to draw out like minded people. Plain and simple.
