Anyone else mad at Oprah for this?

Okay im broke-as-a-joke, and i saw that amazon Kindle last year. Ive been watiing for the price to drop (for which demand has to go down), and then i hear stupid friggin oprah mentioned it on her show, and they sold out, and now ppl are buying them used off of ebay for $1,500 (they were like $350 brand new). I am soo sick of oprah .!!!!! she is such a has been. i wish she would just go off the air already. ellen is better anyway
Your just mad becuase your over the hill and have one foot in the grave, dont take it out on me.
It was on the news. oprah is responsible for the kindle she mentioned on her show, and there was a corresponding mob of people buying it.

Don't blame Oprah just because you can't afford to buy the newest electronic toy.

Forget about it. Get yourself a library card (FREE where I live, much less expensive), and visit your public library system. You can check out books FOR FREE, and read them. No downloading, no pay-per-read.

Sheesh. You must belong to the "entitlement generation." I bet you have credit card debt from buying shoes.

I'm fairly certain Oprah had nothing to do with the current stock of the Kindle. They sold out last year during the Christmas time, and as holiday shopping will do, they sold out again this year during Christmas time.

You should be mad at Oprah for telling you to read books she hasn't done research on, or has a vested (or invested [literally]) interest in, as opposed to just having people read.

The Kindle was in stock last month because holiday shopping had yet to take off. It was also in stock most of the year.

Just admit it, you are an Oprah hater! Now i'm not saying that i watch her show anymore but people obviously do and the fact that she is so mega rich by using her wits shows she's not stupid. It's not her fault that you or i are broke!

Last year i wanted to buy a Nintendo wii but demand pushed the price up and i couldn't afford one. Nothing to do with Oprah- capitalism, greed, market forces etc...

Why don't we try and get out of debt and live within our means and accept responsibility for our own lives instead of 'buying in' to blame culture?
