Do you think in the next movie, they would of had Harley Quinn in the movie? Now, if Nolan put another Joker in place of Heath, everyone would get mad, it would be movie suicide (as I call it). Heath was amazing in the movie.
Well, the only way Harley would get to be in it is if the Joker was in it, because that is how she became Harley-she was joker-obsessed. And, like people said, Heath killed the part.
Thats also another thing. Do you think that they will put Robin or Batgirl in the upcoming movies? But the way Nolan is making the movies (dark and just like the comics) it would be difficult.

If Heath was still alive I think the movie would of been shorter, Either there won't be anther Christian Bale batman movie, or they will get somebody to replace him (causing major problems) or it won't involve the joker at all.

Heath was so good at the Joker they shouldn't get a new joker, go to the Riddler or something. Or if they really want to get a new joker, make it Jack Nicholson

They could probably do a back ground like show old clips from the movie and show how much she loved what the joker was doing, Have a bunch of posters of the joker.

The Joker is the major villain in the comic so they can't even kill him off

I wouldn't be mad. In fact, I'd embrace it. (Even if ledger was still alive). I personally do not think that he did that great of a job as the joker. I was expecting a little bit more insanity from him, but alas I was let down. The movie still rocked for sure.

i never saw "Dark Knight" but everyone says it is such a great movie. like my cousin said the Joker was the best character in the movie. so i think people would get mad if he didnt play the Joker if he was still alive. Hope I helped.

I agree,Ledger's Joker was a masterpiece.If they replace him everything he worked for would be ruined.If her were alive to make a third I have no doubt it would be just as amazing if not better than his first role as the Joker....But sadly he's not.

there probably will be people who would get made but the joker is a big part in batman & always will be. he's batman's biggest foe. heath ledger was an amazing joker & i love him as an actor but the joker shouldn't be written off just 'cause heath ledger died.

i do think harely going to be in it they might have a replacement that would be stupid no one could replace heath. he"s the best joker and always will be he was a spectacular joker id just have to make up a word for how good he was.i used to read the batman comics i thought joker was cool. and years later until the dark knight i remberned joker was the best villan from batman and till i saw the dark knight i said to myself and everyone how heath played and also i said thats the right way how to play the joker
