How did they create the scars on Heath's face coming up from his mouth? The look so real but i know they are not real.

kkk what they do is they make a very thin(thin like paper) mold of his face and make a small mound where the scar will be
they take a carving tool and carve the scar deep olmost to his real skin. They use special glue and glue it to his face and cover it with a heep load of make up
