heath was way way more creepy. like it seemed like heaths role was tougher to play than jacks was. heath looked like he worked really hard on it and jacks was kind of just plain and natural, like anyone could do it. it wasn't really unique

I saw the dark night twice because i loved it so much, and Nolan was brilliant and gave Ledger a much scarier approache, unlike Nicholson who was more supposed to be jokey, like with magic and stuff, not nearly as good or entertaining as Heath Ledger.

I think everyone is going to say Heath, but I don't think it's fair to compare the two. Heath did so much more &quot;research&quot; for his role to show the psychopathic side of the Joker whereas I think Nicholson tried to show how he was just crazy. Do you know what I mean?
Either way if I had to choose I would say Ledger because he made Joker very interesting. Whereas with Nicholson I kind of see him as just the villain in the movie.

heath ledger was great!!! i almost forgot about his role in brokeback mountain----but jack nicholson was also good---they're both different but id hafta go with heath ledger
