They Wait

Anyone agree that good scary/thrilling movies are hard to find these days? I’ve maybe seen one or two horror/thriller films in the past couple years I really enjoyed. One of my buddies showed me this trailer for a film called They Wait that’s coming out on DVD. The trailer is up on youtube. It’s apparently about Chinese Ghost Month…anyone heard of the film or the festival? It looks pretty cool, but I’m so skeptical these days. What do ya’ll think?

They definitely don't make horror or comedy like they used to. Most of the new crap they are coming out with these days is absolute crap. (epic movie, and such)

I think partly it has to do with the state of the youth these days. You almost have to dumb down your movies so much that they can begin to understand it... Any REAL horror movies these days wouldn't sell out, now it's all dumb looking monsters that get people.
